FASHION Officially Spring time. Officially Spring Break. Well f let’s get it den.

HEALTH Sleep? I forgot what that was the past few weeks. Between school, work, and working on personal projects, life comes at you fast; no pun intended. Being so young, I’m thankful I have that extra energy (I think) to get things done and run on only a few hours of sleep. Sleep is often percieved as essential but the dreams worth living make us realize that we can sleep when we’re dead. Grab a Red Bull.

WEALTH is doing what you love. Whether that’s the cashier at Taco Bell, a photography major, Lawyer, etc. People often put others down for their “situation” or where they stand oblivious to the fact that THAT person might just love being a UPS man. Don’t let anyone ruin your spirit or make you feel uncomfortable about what you like. No sense in making fun; let it BE. 

LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS Was talking to a friend today about the simple fact of having friends. Just having a friend. We may not realize it, but having a even just 1 friend is… well, enormous. Having someone take the time to converse with, listen, and share ideas and thoughts is incredible. Forever blessed with the simple things in life. Never ignore daily blessings.

YOU It’s a lonely road to the top & oh the sacrifices we make to get there. When your high school friends are relationshipped (sp?) up, others are engaged and moving in together, the fact of following your dreams seems confusing on your own. Know deep down that living with your heart will lead you in the right direction towards YOUR life aspirations and the right person (soulmate) led towards you. Have faith.

HEALTH You are the company you keep. In other words, choose your associates and friends wisely. It’s important to truly get to know someone before letting them into your beautiful life and heart. Impatient relationships and quick satisfaction is what is ruining the lifestyles of ladies and gentlemen. Stay truuuue to your roots and always follow that gut feeling (IN ANYTHING!)

WEALTH Living in Scottsdale, AZ the superficial is realllllllllllll. Many women have all materials and no money in the bank. Mommy’s money, Daddy’s money, Gold Diggers, and debters (new word.) Personally, I can’t stress how much more WEALTH is defined in my life when family, friends, laughing, working, and making memories are more prominent.

YOU We have to realize that not everyone is going to like us, we can’t please the world, and only you can make decisions for yourself. Steer away from living your life consciously to please every person around you when they’re too sensitive to the fact that you’re still going to do what YOU want to at the end of the day.

Twenty Twelve

FASHION Took a spontaneous quick trip to LA this week and an amazing window display pulled me in to a store called LA ROXX. We met a man named Jeffery and chatted for a bit. He took us to his back room FULL of displays of amazing leather jackets. Each one was unique including fur, studs, spikes, etc. It’s incredible how a single window display can lead to an awesome networking experience. I feel that attention to detail in life is very important.

HEALTH Phew! I love time off. I enjoy school but that 3 week break is extra needed especially because we attend year-round. Time off has always been healthy for my mind, because it gives me time to think and determine the next move I need to make in life. Productivity doesn’t always mean you’re in the office or at the job 24/7. It can be determined as taking a step out of your element for a bit of extra inspiration.

WEALTH I’d much rather have a few designer items, the rest thrift store, my Mom’s closet, or inexpensive H&M buys, and spend the rest of my money on traveling. I believe that memories made in life are far more significant than the cost of my clothes and material things I own.

LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS Women should really stop worrying and complaining about why they don’t have a boyfriend and put that energy into making themselves more interesting as a human being. When you genuinely find yourself and can be completely happy by yourself, is when the right man sees the confidence that he wants to be apart of. Capeesh?

YOU Don’t expect much, you’ll be a lot happier.

HEALTH It’s unfortunate that even the healthiest of people can become diagnosed with cancer. But blessed are those who keep a positive attitude through everything. It’s been a rough few weeks and I don’t enjoy talking about this but I am so grateful that my Dad has stayed patient through everything and is now excited for his surgery on Monday. Blessed for great doctors and family for an amazing support system. Love you Dad. See you soon. Xoxo

WEALTH Just got back about a week ago from an amazing trip to Las Vegas to Watch The Throne. There was no way Jay-Z and Kanye were going to be 4 hours away from me, in the same building, and Tay Tay not attend. Concerts have to be one of my favorite things to do. Time to dance, sing, and let loose in a room full of people that love music just as much as you do. They both inspire me to work hard every single day of my life.

LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS Phew. Men are silly. I’ve talked about my old school ways more than enough, but I guess it goes to show how far I’ll go until I settle for someone. The ones whom which I’ve been surrounded by lately have definitely proved that I am solely on my own with my opinions on this relationship bullshit.(Insert one’s who beg to differ here.) Be careful who you trust, give your time to, and care for. If you put up with the mess and settle, you are allowing people to do the things that they do and hurt you; which ends up your fault in the end. When you see that red flag, jump on the Red Eye outta that relationship. Gentlemen or nada:

YOU Independent. Single. Loving family & friends. Being on your own allows for you to fully follow those dreams with no distractions. I am blessed that God has put me in a place and mindset in which nothing gets in the way of the things I enjoy and my future. Let’s work.
